We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for assisting with accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process employee timecards and input payroll data into the payroll system

  • Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments

  • Assist in preparation and distribution of payroll checks or direct deposits

  • Maintain employee payroll records and ensure confidentiality

  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters

  • Prepare reports related to payroll for management and accounting

  • Assist with tax filings, wage garnishments, and benefit deductions as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in payroll, accounting, or a related field preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

  • Good organizational and time management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with payroll software is a plus

Schedule:

  • Full-time position (hours may vary depending on company needs)
