Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Sewing Machine Mechanic for a growing operation in Sparta, TN. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair industrial sewing machines
• Diagnose issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime
• Complete preventative maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently
• Adjust machines for optimal performance and product quality
• Replace parts such as needles, belts, motors, and gears
• Respond quickly to production floor breakdowns
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Work closely with production teams to improve efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a sewing machine mechanic or similar maintenance role
• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to repair mechanical and basic electrical issues
• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Dependable and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Experience:

• Manufacturing or textile environment
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to read schematics
• Technical or vocational training in maintenance or mechanics

Work Environment:

• Production setting with machinery, noise, and moving equipment
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs required
